BAUDOUIN GENSET INSTALLATION AT ONE CITY HILL

Commenced in February 2023 and set for completion in the second half of 2023, the One City Hill residential building is one of Canberra’s landmark urban developments. Viking Industrial was contracted by Perigon Electrical to deliver a complete standby power system for the $380 million project, ensuring reliability and compliance for such a high-profile site.

Our team supplied and installed a containerised Baudouin genset rated at 1250kVA Standby and 1150kVA Prime on the building’s 7th-floor roof — a complex installation requiring precision planning. To support the system, we also supplied a 5000L fire-rated fuel tank located in the 3rd-floor basement, complete with integrated pipework to connect the tank to the generator. This setup guarantees a steady, efficient power supply and critical backup capability for the building’s operations.
