SUPPORTING 24/7 OPERATIONS ON A CITY-SHAPING PROJECT

Commenced in June 2023 and expected to complete in June 2026, the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project is a city-shaping infrastructure initiative designed to connect Greater Western Sydney to the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport. Spanning 23 kilometres, the project will provide a transport backbone for the region, supporting more than 14,000 jobs during construction.

Viking Industrial was engaged by Webuild S.p.A (Parklife JV) to provide essential power and lighting solutions throughout the construction phase. Our team supplied generators ranging from 20kVA to 350kVA, fuel cells from 2,000L to 10,000L, and both solar and diesel lighting towers to support round-the-clock operations. When last-minute project demands arose, Viking rapidly mobilised additional equipment and implemented tailored exhaust systems, ensuring reliable, compliant, and continuous site operations without delay.
