Ampol Refinery – Lytton Upgrade

RELIABLE LIGHTING SOLUTIONS FOR QUEENSLAND’S ONLY OIL REFINERY

Commenced in January 2024 and ongoing, Ampol’s Lytton Refinery upgrade in Brisbane is a critical infrastructure project aimed at boosting Australia’s fuel security and reducing emissions. As Queensland’s only oil refinery and one of just two in the country, the site requires safe, reliable, and compliant systems to maintain operations during construction and night works.

Viking Industrial was engaged by Kent PLC to supply essential lighting solutions for the upgrade. We deployed 15 solar lighting towers, with a further six units scheduled for delivery, all on a 12-month rental basis. Positioned across night work areas, carparks, and key access points, these towers ensure safe movement, efficient operations, and uninterrupted progress throughout the refinery’s upgrade.
